The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you, as perfect, as unspoiled, as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You can turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose.

365 Days of Picture Writing: Day 7

Starbucks Christmas Blended Toffee Nut Latte
It’s the time of the year again when people are rushing to their favorite coffee shop Β to have their limited-edition Starbucks planner.

I’m a guilty lady. I am one of those people who would buy and drink an expensive coffee in exchange for a limited-edition planner, while there are a lot of equally beautiful but cheaper planners in bookstores.

My mom treated us to Starbucks today. I still needed 4 stickers. There were only 3 of us and the plan was to buy 4 cups, and so one person would have to drink two cups of coffee. πŸ™‚ Luckily, I saw that the promo got extended until the 15th of January. I decided to buy 3 cups instead and just go back some other day. Besides, there are only 2 colors left available for the day, black and maroon, and I want the yellow one.

Now I still have a few more days to find someone to treat me to Starbucks…

365 Days of Picture Writing: Day 6

quote, notebook, workstation, photos, photography
This is what my sweet little notebook tells me everyday.

While I am jobless, at home and contemplating on how I’d be able to accomplish my plans in life, I decided to set up my mini workstation today. It consists of a mini-desk, a laptop, iPad, mini vibrating speaker, two pencil holders full of colorful ballpens, my 2013 Starbucks planner that I wasn’t really able to use last year, a scratch pad, cable holder for my gadget’s cables, and of course my precious “Always smile” notebook.

She has been with me in 2013, during my “not so good” times, when I thought that I was on a dead-end. It’s 2014, I am better, and I’m not able to consume half of her yet. I guess she’d still be with me for the rest of the year. πŸ™‚
